LET develops 9 indicators to assess the contribution of metropolitan parks to the health and well-being of population

The contribution of green spaces to the health and well-being of citizens is increasingly being studied and valued by citizens. For many people living in cities, contact with the green areas often occurs at metropolitan parks. In this context, LET has developed a set of indicators to measure the impact of these areas on the public, allowing to guide managers and planners in the decision-making process. The indicators have been developed through an Socio-Ecological Integrated Analysis (SIA) and a comprehensive review of scientific evidence linking green areas to health and well-being.
